Pura Vida!

The Brown family is about to go off the grid for the next ten days.  We are headed to Costa Rica in celebration of my father-in-law's 70th Birthday.  We are taking the children and meeting my mother and father-in-law, brother and sister-in-law and their kids and we cannot wait!

The LAST time I was in Costa Rica, quite a few years ago -- Keira was a baby girl then -- I spent a LOT of time locating phones to call home.  I was not ready to be that far from my girls AND I missed them terribly because at every turn, there was something amazing from God's creation that I wanted to share with them.

Brian and I had a wonderful time, and it was good to get off on a trip just the two of us.  This time, I am over the moon to watch the girls see nature at its finest -- jungles, beaches, volcanos, lizards, birds, butterflies, coatimundi -- so much more!

These snaps from our previous trip will have to suffice until we return.  Although there are internet cafes, the cell phones will be staying in AIRPLANE MODE and my sincerest hope is that we will be fully ensconced in discovery and awe.

If you are looking for something cool to read today, please go to Jill Allison Bryan's Creative Oasis to read about the International Women's Day celebration at White Rock Bridge here in Dallas.

Happy Spring Break to you all and thank you so very much for reading,
Besos!
